US President Joe Biden approved 15 presidential decrees during his first day as president, White House spokeswoman Jane Pesky said on Thursday.
She added, in the first press briefing since Biden entered the White House: “President Biden ordered the imposition of masks and spacing in all government buildings and transportation.”
And she continued: “Senior expert in infectious diseases Anthony Fauci will participate tomorrow in the World Health Organization conference as head of the American delegation.”
And she continued: “telling the truth to the American people will be at the core of our tasks, and Biden seeks to achieve racial equality through a new executive decree.”
She said that Biden sent an immigration bill to Congress for approval, adding: “The president has put an end to the ban imposed on Muslim-majority countries.”
