Biden assigns David Kessler to lead the Corona vaccination program

US President-elect Joe Biden decided, on Friday, to appoint a former commissioner for the Food and Drug Administration, David Kessler, as director of the US anti-corona vaccine distribution program, “Warp Speed.”

According to the American “CNBC” channel, the decision to appoint Kessler came after the resignation of Moncef Al-Salawi, the program’s chief adviser, at the request of the Biden team.

It is worth noting that Kessler helped develop and approve anti-AIDS drugs in the 1990s.

Warp Speed is the government’s program for the distribution of Corona vaccines, and El-Sallawi was appointed last spring to lead efforts to develop a vaccine according to an accelerated schedule.
