Trump addresses protesters in Washington

Outgoing US President Donald Trump said he would deliver a speech on Wednesday to his supporters in Washington, calling on Americans to rally.

Trump made clear in a series of tweets on Twitter that Washington was full of people who did not want to admit that the Democrats stole the elections, he said.

Trump encouraged his supporters to rally in Washington on Wednesday, as Congress held a crucial meeting to endorse President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.

And more than 12 Republican members of the US Senate announced their refusal to ratify Congress on January 6, the results of the presidential election and Biden’s victory.
