Brazil records more than four thousand deaths in Corona for the first time within 24 hours
Brazil recorded, on Tuesday, for the first time since the start of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, more than four thousand deaths resulting from the virus, according to what the Ministry of Health announced.
The ministry said that the largest Latin American country recorded 4,195 deaths in Corona during the past 24 hours.
With a population of 212 million, Brazil is the second country in the world, behind the United States, that has been the most affected by the pandemic in terms of human losses since the disease spread there more than a year ago.
The total death toll from the virus in Brazil rose to about 337,000 deaths out of 13 million infected people, noting that many scientists say that the Ministry of Health data do not reflect the extent of the epidemiological situation in the country.
