Algerian Riyad Mahrez, Manchester City star, continued his brilliance recently, confirming his intention to steal the spotlight after a period of doubt.
Mahrez was subjected to some criticism because of his fluctuation in his level in previous periods of the current season, which prompted the Spaniard Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City coach, to put him on the bench on some occasions.
But the player was able recently to respond to everyone thanks to his brilliance for the second consecutive match in the English Premier League, which came against Arsenal in the 25th round of the competition.

The match coincided with Mahrez’s celebration of his 30th birthday, to witness one of the highlights of the Premier League this season in terms of goal-making.
The second minute of the match, which City won 1-0, saw Mahrez making for his first team’s goal, as he sent a cross pass in a dazzling way to Raheem Sterling, who put his head in the “Al Madfaiya” net.

Mahrez got the second highest rating in the match, according to the famous “Hoskord” website, getting 7.6 out of 10.
Mehrez made two successful dribbles in the meeting, in addition to the accuracy of his passes reaching 97%, as well as his shot at the opponent’s goal on two occasions.
Mahrez had scored a beautiful goal in Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over Everton, bringing the number of his goals this season to 8 in exchange for making 4 goals.
