A new decision from America on reconciliation with Iran

A US official said on Friday that the United States would ease restrictions on Iranian diplomats’ movement in New York.

“The Iranians have said that they want to return to the nuclear agreement if we return, but this does not happen unilaterally,” the US official added, in remarks carried by Reuters.

This comes after Richard Mills, the acting US ambassador to the United Nations, told the Security Council that the United States withdrew the administration of former President Donald Trump to re-impose all UN sanctions on Iran in September, indicating that the United States agreed to a European invitation to hold talks with Iran…

The US official continued: “There is no information about the timing and place of the meeting with Iran, but it will not be ministerial, but rather at the level of envoys,” pointing out that Robert Malley will represent the United States delegation during the meeting.
