Eduard Seleznev, 51, from Arkhangelsk in the northwest region of Arkhangelsk oblast, was convicted of murdering three friends between March 2016 and March 2017. This Russian cannibal who murdered three friends and ate parts of their body was imprisoned for life.
Known in Russia as the “Arkhangelsk Cannibal,” Eduard Seleznev admitted after his trial that he stabbed his friends – aged 59, 43, and 34 – to death while they were drunk. When he found out that they all died drunk, they dismembered them squarely before boiling their bodies.
Their well-cooked leftovers were Eduard Seleznev’s favorite dish for days. Satisfied with this abundance of human flesh, the Russian cannibal got rid of uninteresting remains in a river. He had moved in with one of his friends in question and lived there until his triple murder came to light.
After expert reports, psychiatrists declared him sane and entirely responsible for the murder of his three friends. Seleznev, already sentenced to 13 years in prison for a double murder, returns to jail for his entire life.
