The princes of the ruling family mourned the prince, who died at the age of 73 of an illness that he contracted last week due to his hospitalization.
The late prince held many positions, including the Saudi Royal Air Force’s deputy commander, and many jobs, including the presidency of the National Center of Meteorology.
During the past few days, the late Prince Fahd and Abdullah’s sons announced that their father had fallen ill and asked to pray for him without revealing the disease he suffers from.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz made a phone call with Prince Faisal bin Turki yesterday, in which he reassured the health of the ill prince, according to a tweet by Faisal bin Turki.
