Today, Tuesday, the Italian Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 10,593 cases and 541 new deaths from the Coronavirus, representing a tangible increase for both indicators in the country compared to yesterday’s data, Monday.
The Italian Ministry of Health stated, in a new statistic, that the number of registered infections with the emerging coronavirus “Covid-19” in Italy during the past 24 hours increased by 10593 cases, bringing the available number to the level of 2485956.
And the index of new infections with the virus in Italy on January 22, 13,633 cases, on January 23, 13331, on January 24, 11629, and on January 25, 8562.
The ministry added that it had detected 541 deaths from the disease, bringing the number of pandemic victims in the country to 86,422 cases.
This comes after the number of new deaths from “Covid-19” on January 22 was 472, on January 23, 488, on January 24, 299, and on January 25, 420.
The Ministry reported an increase in the number of people recovering from the disease to 1917,117 people after 19,256 new cures were monitored.
Italy is the eighth country in the world in terms of infection outcome with the Coronavirus and the sixth in terms of the number of deaths due to the pandemic.
And the government previously extended the state of health emergency to contain the Coronavirus pandemic in the country until the end of April.
On December 27, 2020, Italy and the rest of the European Union launched a mass vaccination campaign against the emerging coronavirus.
