A Spanish press report revealed, today, Tuesday, the deadline for the Barcelona elections.
The elections were scheduled to take place two days ago. Still, the government announced that it was difficult for some members to move within Catalonia municipalities to prevent the Coronavirus spread.
According to the Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona’s temporary board of directors headed by Carles Tusquets has settled on the elections’ deadline.
The newspaper, close to Barcelona, indicated that the board of directors agreed to hold the elections on March 7, during the meeting.
It is noteworthy that the elections will be held in different places, and voting by mail will be allowed while using electronic voting in the manner suggested by the presidential candidate Victor Font has not been considered.
