The family of the legendary American broadcaster Larry King confirmed that he died in a hospital in Los Angeles on Saturday morning, at the age of 88, after a long struggle with illness.
And on King’s account, he posted a condolence statement issued by the TV company Ora TV, whose presenter was one of the founders.
The statement recalled Kimig’s accomplishments during his 63-year career, including a beautiful interview with thousands of prominent people, including US and foreign presidents.
For years, King had been in severe trouble and celebrated his 87th birthday in hospital on November 19.
And earlier this month, it was reported that King had been transferred to the hospital again after he was diagnosed with the new Coronavirus, and he was connected to artificial respirators.
King gained wide fame for presenting a private show on CNN between 1985 and 2010, and since 2013 he has been collaborating with RT.
RT’s editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan called out on her account on “Twitter” King. He described him as the most prominent international television legend and said that his death was a terrible loss.
