The King of Morocco honors Donald Trump with the highest honor for Morocco


On Friday, US President Donald Trump received Morocco’s highest honor, Ouissam Al Mohammadi, for his work in promoting a normalization agreement between Israel and Morocco.

In a private ceremony at the Oval Office, Princess Lalla Joumala Alaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom to the United States, presented Donald Trump with the Ouissam Al Mohammadi, the highest honor bestowed only on heads of state. Senior White House adviser Jared Kushner and Middle East envoy Avi Berkowitz received further accolades for securing the Israel-Morocco deal on December 22, the same added. Source.

Donald Trump is stepping down as President of the United States on January 20. On December 10, he recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara.
