Biden excludes Moroccan Slaoui from developing the Corona vaccine
Moncef Slaoui resigned from heading the White House team to develop an anti-Coronavirus vaccine, at the request of the newly elected US President Joe Biden, according to international news agencies.
The same sources stated that the Moroccan scientist would remain in office for about 30 days during the transitional period. His role will be greatly reduced after Biden is sworn in and installed as president next week.
Moncef Slaoui, the chief advisor for the Warp Speed vaccine distribution process, did not comment on the matter, noting that he had previously confirmed his resignation from his post as soon as an effective vaccine against the Coronavirus was found.
