According to Fox News, a TikTok user created a buzz on this social network by filming her life as she spent her 40s in a New York hotel.
A New Yorker had indeed recounted her stayed in a hotel near LaGuardia airport when she isolated herself after having tested positive for the coronavirus.
Leila Grindstaff posted a video on her TikTok account on December 30 explaining that she had just tested positive for Covid-19 and that she would be spending the next two weeks in quarantine in a hotel as part of the program. Isolation is put in place by the city.
She explained that she chose to participate in this program because she lives in an apartment with four bedrooms and one bathroom, and she did not feel that she could properly isolate herself from the people with which she lives.

In her videos, Leala Grindstaff details the food she received and how she spends her time.
During an interview with NY 1, she explained that people liked to know her experience. “They’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t know. How would I eat, or how would I be taken care of if I had a medical emergency or something like that? ‘ And I wanted people to understand that nurses are there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. “
In another video, she describes her breakfast of an egg and cheese sandwich, a muffin, orange juice, an orange, and coffee. Even though the coffee seemed “disgusting,” she seemed satisfied with her meal.
The ‘Isolation Hotel’ program is a free service for New Yorkers who have tested positive for the coronavirus and cannot isolate themselves due to their living situation.
