Twitter said it had suspended US President Donald Trump permanently due to the risk of further incitement to violence.
“After carefully reviewing the recent tweets of Donald Trump’s account and the circumstances surrounding them, we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement to violence,” the company said.
The US President still maintains the Presidency account on Twitter, with more than 33 million followers.
Twitter has not yet suspended, closed, or determined his fate after the social networking site said a few days ago, it would hand him over to Biden’s team on January 20 and archive previous tweets.
For Trump’s personal account, all previous tweets have been archived and can be found at https://www.thetrumparchive.com/
