Since last November, the Nigerian striker has been absent from the stadiums after a dislocated shoulder injury he sustained while he was with his country to compete in the African Nations Cup qualifiers.
Osman returned to Italy from Belgium, where his club allowed him to continue his treatment.
Napoli had spent a record amount for the club to sign the Nigerian international striker from French club Lille amounting to 80 million euros in a five-year contract early this season.
