US President Donald Trump called on Congress to amend the economic recovery plan and raise the value of aid approved for those affected by the emerging coronavirus.
In a videotaped speech, the US President assured him that he would not sign the financial aid package recently approved by Congress before it was amended.
Trump described the $ 900 billion aid plan to confront the repercussions of Corona, which was recently approved by Congress, as a “stain,” calling for many changes.
The US President called for an increase in direct payments to individuals and families affected by the Corona epidemic from 600 to 2000 dollars.
Earlier, the US Congress approved an $ 892 billion aid package to address the emerging corona virus’s repercussions. The bill includes granting $ 600 to Americans and additional payments for those who lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
