Britain warns stores not to stock up on foodstuffs in anticipation of “Brexit” without an agreement


London – (Reuters):
The Sunday Times newspaper reported that British ministers had warned supermarkets against stocking up on foodstuffs in anticipation of Britain’s exit from the European Union without a deal, in light of fears of shortages.

The report added that the ministers asked drug suppliers, medical devices, and vaccines to store six weeks’ worth in safe locations in the United Kingdom.
