US President-elect Joe Biden announced his intention to ask Americans, starting from the first day of his presidency, to put on masks for 100 days to limit the Corona virus’s spread.
People have lost faith in the ability of the vaccine to succeed,” Biden said in his interview with CNN.
He explained that “if he takes power, he will issue an order to wear the muzzle in federal places and the means of transportation that serve between states, whether buses or planes.”
He said that “a mask should be put on for a hundred days, not forever, and I think we will see a significant decrease in the level of infection.”
The United States has recorded more than 14 million infections and 275,000 deaths due to Covid-19.
