The US police in Texas found the body of famous social media influencer Alexis Sharkey naked, days after her disappearance.
Authorities in Houston, Texas, said in a statement that they had found the body of Alexis Sharkey, 26, on the side of a road in the city, after her disappearance last week.
Houston Police said in a statement that the cause of death of Alexis, who had shown none apparent injuries, had not been determined.
And according to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the police are likely not to be Alexis’ natural death, and that her body was transported to the site where it was found, where it remained there for at least 24 hours.

Alexis’ mother, Stacy Robinault, revealed that her daughter had entered a dispute with someone before her disappearance, without providing further details.
In her statements, the mother, along with several of Alexis’ friends, tried to contact her after her sudden disappearance, but all of those calls were being diverted to voicemail.

After discovering the body, the mother said: “I knew that she had entered a quarrel with one of them, but I was not aware of the identity of the person with whom she had fought or because of the dispute.”
She showed that her daughter did not accompany her car before she disappeared, and that they were discussing plans to celebrate Christmas, showing that she did not intend to leave, and I have not heard from her since.
She said her late daughter’s friends last spoke to her at 6 pm on the day of her disappearance, and since then her calls have moved to voicemail.
