The United States is still at the forefront of the countries affected by the emerging coronavirus in terms of the number of infections, with more than 13 million infections and 266 thousand deaths. India is cited for 9.4 million infections and 137 thousand deaths. Brazil is in third place with 6.3 million infections and 172 deaths.
