Cristiano Ronaldo to Maradona: Goodbye my friend .. “A magician like no other”


Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a farewell message to Diego Armando Maradona, the Argentine soccer legend, after he left our world earlier today, Wednesday, at 60.

And Argentine newspapers showed Maradona suffered a heart attack, and died as a result, two weeks after leaving the hospital, where he underwent surgery on the stroke.

Ronaldo wrote through his official account on the Twitter site: “Today I say goodbye to a friend, while the world bids farewell to eternal genius.”

He continued: “He is one of the best, a magician like no other.”

He continued: “He left early, but he leaves an unlimited legacy, and no one will ever replace him, so you will not forget.”

It is noteworthy that Ronaldo has a strong relationship with the Argentine legend, as Maradona wished earlier if Cristiano was Argentine.

Maradona is one of the most famous football legends throughout his long history, as Maradona contributed to attracting millions to follow football thanks to his superior skills, and he also contributed to the Argentina national team’s crowning of the World Cup in 1986.

Maradona wore Barcelona and Napoli shirts on his European trip, while he excelled in his career with Boca Juniors when he started playing football.
