Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed the absence of French midfielder Paul Pogba; the West Bromwich Albion match on Saturday.
Pogba was removed from the match list, which ended with the victory of the Red Devils with a goal without a response, scored by Bruno Fernandez, Portugal, from a penalty kick.
Solskjaer said, in statements to the official website of Manchester United: “Paul received a blow in his last game with France, but he started to feel it after Friday’s training, so he could not be against West Bromwich. I hope he is ready for Tuesday’s match.”
Manchester United is preparing to face Istanbul, Basaksehir, next Tuesday, in the fourth round of the Champions League group stage.
Manchester United are top of their group in the Champions League with 6 points, on par with Leipzig, while Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir are ranked third and fourth with only 3 points.
