A spokesman for Donald Trump Jr., the US President’s son, announced on Friday that he has tested positive for COVID-19 this week, although he is not experiencing any symptoms.
The spokesman said that Trump Jr.’s test results were positive at the beginning of the week and had been “subject to quarantine since the results appeared,” according to Reuters.
He added, “He has not yet shown symptoms of infection and is following all the medically recommended guidelines.”
Trump Jr is added to the dozens of people close to the president who have contracted the virus, including Trump himself.
Earlier on Friday, Andrew Giuliani, son of Rudy Giuliani, a White House aide, announced on Twitter that he had tested positive for the virus.
Additionally, Vice President Mike Pence’s assistant, Hannah McGinnis, tested positive earlier this month.
