Drogba obtained the golden residency during his reception this morning, at the headquarters of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, in the presence of Major General Muhammad Al-Marri, Director General of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai and his deputy, Major General Obaid Mohair bin Surur, and several officials.

Drogba stated that he had been a fan of Dubai since he visited it in 2005, where people live in safety and respect customs and traditions.
