The doctor treating soccer star Diego Maradona said that the former Argentine captain would stay in the hospital for several days after suffering from confusion caused by an incomprehensible state of abstinence after undergoing brain surgery.
“We all know Diego,” doctor Leopoldo Luque told reporters outside a Buenos Aires medical center. In the postoperative period, there were instances of confusion associated with abstinence.
If Loki clarifies Maradona abstaining from what, the former Barcelona, Napoli, and Boca Juniors player suffered from alcohol and drug addiction.
The idea is to treat it with abstinence, Loki said. We think that’s what should happen, and we think it’s the best for Maradona.
Loki’s comments came hours after he told reporters that the Chimnasia E Esgrima coach’s condition had improved and that doctors were considering discharging him from the hospital.
Maradona, who led Argentina to the 1986 World Cup and remains one of the greatest players in history, has suffered health crises in recent years and is hospitalized repeatedly.
