WWE has officially announced that the upcoming Summer Samarra 2020 Summer Festival in Boston will not be held next month. Whereas, the Corona pandemic forced them to exclude another destination from the monthly offer in a similar way to the presentation of WrestleMania 36 last April.
A new location has not been announced yet, but the WWE Wrestlers Performance Center can be selected to stage this show. A statement at WWE confirmed last night: “In coordination with our local partners, and government officials, the Samar Salam offer is no longer made in Boston … Refunds are available at the original point of purchase.” “We are grateful to Boston for their long partnership and look forward to holding WWE events at TD Garden in the future.
“Samar Salam will be broadcast live on Sunday, August 23,” Albban said.
McMahon has already decided not to use one of his biggest names on the card, as Brock Lesnar was not in the show due to the lack of fans in the show and therefore no need to sell tickets.
