The Parisian club indicated in an official statement, that Mbabe is suffering from a sprain in the right ankle, with a large wound on the external side, and he will undergo a new evaluation of his injury within 72 hours.
The statement pointed out that defender Telo Kerir, who was injured during the same match, is suffering from a bruise, and needs 4 to 5 days rest.
On the other hand, the injured duo Juan Bernat and Abdou Diallo have recovered, and they will both participate in group exercises next Monday.
Mbappe was injured after a violent intervention by Saint-Etienne, defender Louis Perrin, who received a red card as a result of roughness.
The PSG crowned the French Cup for the 13th time in its history, thanks to a goal scored by Neymar Jr in the net of Saint-Etienne, after 14 minutes.
