Italian club Napoli is seeking to restore the services of Paris Saint-Germain Edinson Cavani, during the upcoming summer transfer season.
The Italian newspaper “Toto Sport” reported that they associated the player with a strong departure from the French princes during the last winter transfer window.
Cavani was about to leave the Princes Park and move to Atlético de Madrid, but the deal did not go through.
Cavani’s current contract with Saint Germain is for expiring in June and there is no agreement yet to renew his contract.
The newspaper pointed out that Naples desperately wanted to restore Cavani’s services at the end of the current season, as Cavani previously wore the 2010 and 2013 Napoli shirt.. and confirmed that Naples officials are ready to give Cavani an annual salary of 7 million euros.
